A Picture

I just came across this picture, one of the only photos stored on my laptop computer and I can’t exactly tell you how it got there. These are my rats and hos—my forever friends who know all my stories and continue to hang with me anyway. There’s AnnMarie (far left) who stuck by me through 7th grade PE class. We were equals in smarts and nerdiness. It was nice to know, in that particular PE class, that somebody had your back. She married Derek (2nd left). Derek and I have been friends since the 2nd grade. Derek is also dear hubby’s brother (3rd left). Oddly enough, I've only known hubby since high school and I didn't know him well until after high school. Then there’s Melissa (she moved to town our junior year) and Scotty (some guy she picked up along the way/we approved). I also met Adina in the 7th grade (3rd right) and Cyprian (2nd right) shortly thereafter. That’s me on the far right with baby boy! Lots of babies in this picture; boy has that changed!

This picture is only about four or five years old… but these friends… they’ve been around for a lifetime.
