Some pretty serious weather events north of here last night, but we just saw rain and listened to the tornado sirens. Felt like they went on and on for a long time. The town of Reading was hit pretty hard. 200 homes destroyed. One man died.
In other news, hubby has been practicing for a 3-day, 200 mile bike ride. This morning we rode together. I'm not going to tell you how long it took, but we went on an approximately 40 mile ride today. That's twice as far as my previous record (and about about twice as far as I really felt capable of riding). Nothing like bringing it in on guts when half the ride is ALL guts!
