That was the question today.... and the answer is yes, you can fit a cat into a pumpkin. Is the cat happy about it? Not especially. Sooterkin was barely tolerant, but Nancy (the dog) was quite impressed.
This is the latest we have ever started decorating for Halloween. Halloween for us is like Christmas for other folks. We usually pull out the giant house spider and start carving (or painting) pumpkins come October 1. It's been a busy month with very few days at home. Yesterday we bought the last three pumpkins at the Farmers' Market. Today we carved.Spider is still not on the house... maybe tomorrow.

That was cool. I was disappointed for just a second, but that was my own fault for misreading the title as "Can you fit a car into a pumpkin?"
The car probably would've been happier about it, though.
"Put her in a pumpkin shell and there he kept her very well."
It would have taken a mighty big pumpkin!
