This photo was taken in May of 1988 -- high school graduation party, which might seem like an end to things, but I always look at this photo and think of beginnings. I am still close to a surprising number of these folks, and had the honor of bringing in yet another New Year with four of them.
He's not pictured here, but this is the infamous party where I met the hubby.

Even swimming our hair was big in the 80s! Forgive us the rainbow colors, short shorts, and mullets, please! Great to see that picture. Where did the 20 years go? I'm so glad I've spent them as your friend!
