So Rand asks me this morning, "Are you still blogging, or what?"
"Blogging," I answered. "Blogging all the time... morning, noon, and night. I blog in much the same way I work on my novel. It's all internal. Lots of stuff going through my head at all hours."
I got to work on Sunday and all the phones had the music speaker on. The first thing I did was run around turning them all off. It's not that I don't enjoy music... it's just loud enough in my head as it is. I don't NEED the extra stimulus of music. It's hard enough to try to converse with the customers, listen to my co-workers on the radio, and drown out my own on-going novel writing, blogging, whatever...
We've had a number of days in a row of really beautiful weather. I think I'm already getting a bit of a tan and I typically try to avoid long exposure to the sun. It's just hard to come in once I get out there. Kids rode their bikes almost a mile yesterday and are eager to do the same again today. I'm there. I'm looking forward to it.
Tonight I will hit the critique group again... WITH my four pages in hand. I don't even know what I'm reading, but it's already printed out and in my folder. I'll let you know how it goes.
