We've been home for about two days now and the most frequently asked question around the house has been, "What day is it?"
Monday? Friday? Thursday? Saturday?
I can't seem to get myself oriented. Mostly... it just feels like a nap day.
Today I made pie -- one pumpkin and one lemon-coconut. My wonderful daughter made the crusts. She makes such tasty pie crusts that pie is about the only dessert I'm craving these days.
The electrician visited this evening, so the next stage of putting our project room (would be the dining room to some folks) back together will soon be in motion. He's a good guy. Spent quite a bit of time with us when we first moved in. I'm looking forward to the new lighting in our soon-to-be all new room. As well, he's going to fix us up with a few more plugs and a stair light that can be switched on and off from the top or bottom.
I also just signed up for NaNoWriMo. I can't image when I'm going to find the time with everything else that I have going on, but the idea of starting a fresh new writing project holds great appeal at the moment.
