That's right! I finished the Freedom Run in 2 hours, 2 minutes and 42 seconds. I placed fifth in my age group.

Okay, there were five women in my age group. (If only I were 36 -- I could have placed 2nd!)

But, darnit, I finished the Freedom Run in just over 2 hours! I ran the entire thing...all 9.3 miles from Lyons, Kansas to Sterling, Kansas. I didn't stop once. I ran slowly, but it was a run, none-the-less.

I did it... and I'm pretty darned proud of myself.
