Perhaps I will one day look back on this part of my life and remember it as a perpetual state of being behind. Munchkin #1 turned 14 in March. We finally got pictures taken in May. This way we will always remember that 14 was the year she got her braces (braces photo published with special permission from the subject). I don't think she minds them, just isn't thrilled about photographic evidence.
