The join-the-gym strategy...

for surviving winter is somehow working. It still feels like a struggle, but I’m getting there. In a physical sense, at least, I’m picking my butt up and moving on a more-or-less daily schedule. I don’t know why it’s so hard… to feel stronger, to breathe easier, to move about with less pain. The benefits should be enough to have me leaping from my bed in the mornings, joyfully running to the gym where I can move about free from coats and gloves and scarves. Mentally, I’m not quite there yet, but I think I’m doing better than I did last year.

Trying to get my own butt on the treadmill every day. I wish we could do it together. It is much better outside.
