Um, Um, Good

The Magoo family introduced us to the Panini Grill, and hubby and I decided we needed one of our own. I've never been so happy to eat a sandwich in all my life.

The munchkins are also impressed. This morning, Munchkin Boy declared that he was going to find a way to eat panini at every meal. Tortilla wrapped cheese works as well as that wonderful loaf of soar dough bread I picked up at the store yesterday. (Already ALL gone!) I grilled myself PB&J on whole wheat bun this morning -- also delicious!

What makes the grill different from just dropping a sandwich in the skillet. No fire alarms, for one. Somehow, the folks who made the panini grill perfected crusty, crunchy goodness with warm sandwich innards.

I'm in love.

I've watched the informercials and wondered about these things - they do look easy and fun to use on TV, but have never heard a real-life testimonial. Hmmm. Maybe I'll have to get one.

Did you get the GE brand? Where did you buy it?

We got the GE panini press according to the picture, though I think they call it a grill on the box -- I guess my link reverts back to the original page. It's the 2nd one in from the left. It was from Wal-Mart.
